The Simple Scrubs


Sugar and Cream

This scrub is great for every skin type and is simple to make. All you need is a cleansing cream and some sugar. Follow these steps:

1. Wash your face to remove any makeup and excess debris.

2. Take a small amount of cleansing cream and put it in the palm of your hand. This can be a moisturizer or anything you have as long as it has a creamy consistency.

3. Add sugar to the cream and mix them together.

4. Apply the mixture to your face and cleanse in circular motions

5. Wash the mixture off with clean water making sure you remove any debris.

Coconut Surprise

If you want to add a gorgeous scent to your scrub, then follow the steps above, but substitute the cream for 1 tbsp of coconut oil. Mix it with 2 tbsp of sugar and enjoy the gorgeous aroma. 


Tropical Treats


Treat yourself with these exotic combinations, which are good enough to eat!

Blueberry and Honey

1. Get ½ a cup with fresh blueberries, 2 tbsp of raw honey, and 1 or 2 tbsp of sugar.

2. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.

3. Ensure your face is cleansed and then apply the mixture.

4. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse off.

Lemon and Sugar

1. Take 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp organic honey, lemon juice and ½ cup of sugar.

2. Add the lemon juice, honey and olive oil to a bowl and whisk them together.

3. Stir in the sugar to create the scrub.

4. Add to your skin and use circular motions to cleanse for one minute.

5. Use warm water to rinse off the scrub.


Scrubs For Dry Skin


These scrubs are great for dry skin and will give your face a much-needed moisture boost.

Honey and Oatmeal

1. You’ll need ½ cup of oats, 1tsp nutmeg, 2 tbsp honey, 15 drops of tea tree oil, 15 drops of lavender oil, 1 tsp dried lavender (not essential, but can be a great addition).

2. Break up the raw oatmeal in a blender.

3. Put the oatmeal in a bowl and mix in the other ingredients.

4. Rub into your skin using circular motions and leave for 15 minutes.

5. Rinse it off with warm water and apply moisturizer if you wish.

The Olive Oil Alternative

If your skin needs a huge moisture boost, then follow this recipe for the ultimate moisturizing experience.

1. Take ¼ cup of oats, ⅛ cup of honey and ⅛ cup of olive oil

2. Follow steps two, three and four from above.


Scrubs for Oily Skin


If you have oily or combination skin, these scrubs are perfect.

Carrot and Coconut Oil Scrub

OK, this is more like a face mask, but it offers some great exfoliation benefits when applied to your skin. Here’s how you do it.

1. Take one carrot and cut into chunks and add to 1 inch of boiled water.

2. Cover the saucepan and leave it to simmer on a low heat for ten minutes.

3. Add the carrots and coconut oil to a blender and mix until smooth.

4. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it for 15 minutes.

5. Rinse off with warm water and moisturize.

Cucumber Scrub

This is probably the easiest scrub you can make, but it’s very simple. Cucumber is perfect for oily skin as it removes excess oil.

1. Take ½ a cucumber and mash or grate it.

2. Apply on your face and massage it in circular motions.

3. Rinse it off with warm water.


Indulge Your Skin


These exotic scrubs are luxurious for your skin, so follow these steps and enjoy!

Coffee Scrub

Don’t just drink your morning coffee, add it to your face for the ultimate oil eliminator. If you have a dairy allergy, then you can substitute the yogurt for honey.

1. Take 1 tbsp of coffee grounds and 1 tbsp of yogurt.

2. Mix both together and apply to your face.

3. Massage into your skin using circular motions.

4. Leave for 5 minutes then rinse with cold water.

Green Tea Scrub

We don’t have to tell you about the awesome benefits green tea has, so why not use it in a scrub? The results are incredible.

1. Take two green tea bags and steep in warm water, then leave to cool.

2. Remove the bags from the water and open them up.

3. Take two tbsp of steeped tea from the bags and put into the water.

4. Add two tbsp of sugar and a few drops of lemon juice to the mixture.

5. Use cotton wool to apply the mixture to the face, then massage it in.

6. Rinse with warm water, then follow up with cold water.
